Fort Point resident 19 years, came to Fort Point to collaborate with the artists and musicians to grow and protect our community.

I was deeply influenced by the Oberlin "leave the world a better place than when you found it. Played the first non-classical piece at a senior recital "Heatlighting" by fellow classmate Scott Will, who later went on to write for the Simpson's. When I played it for my cello teacher Dick Kapuscinsi, H e loved it. The faculty weren't thrilled with the idea but many of them stood for the standing ovation after the piece- a truly "Oberlin " thing to do! Loved being able to meeting my non-conservatory classmates. John Spalla "74 was my pianist for the senior recital and later when I got my Masters' degree at New England Conservatory, he played for that one too! H ease very su cessful in New York and on Broadway and later worked with several non-profits.

Yes, for sure

I recorded a record with Paul Stookey of Peter Paul and Mary. I met him when he showed up at an outdoor concert when I was 17. He said- "you played a lot more notes than was on that page I could see sitting behind you and I need you for a recording session tomorrow! He hired me the next day for a recording session for a wonderful film "Jenny" about head start. It was nominated for an Emmy. We went on including 2023, to record together. He taught me alot about improvisation and working with singers and is a remarkable man! The latest album was called "Faz" and the same Winter Consort group that we recorded with when I was 17 was on this record!
