School Story

My first experience with historic preservation came at Oberlin, with a proposal for the demolition of Peters Hall to create a view between the brand-new (not yet completed) Mudd Learning Center and Hall Auditorium. The proposal was defeated, and Peters was eventually restored. I learned how to analyze and really see the physical environment in a wonderful course taught by Mr. Severens called "The Architecture of Cities."

Likelihood of attending the 50th Reunion

Sorry, no

Did you spend a semester (or more) away from Oberlin before graduating?

No.

What do you remember about your Winter Term projects?

They were cold and lonely (I was on campus).
